Storage Systems
Selective Pallet Racking
Direct access to every pallet. The most widely used warehouse storage system in the world — and for good reason.
How It Works
Single-Deep Storage, Full Selectivity
Selective pallet racking stores one pallet deep on each bay face, giving a counterbalanced or reach truck direct access to every individual pallet without moving others. Pallets are loaded from the aisle side and retrieved the same way — no shuffling, no sequence dependency.
Features & Benefits
The Standard for a Reason
Selective racking is the default choice for operations with mixed SKU counts, irregular pallet weights, or varying product dimensions — because it imposes the fewest constraints on how you operate.
- 100% selectivity — every pallet is directly accessible from the aisle
- Compatible with standard counterbalanced and reach forklifts
- Easiest system to reconfigure as your product mix or operation changes
- Supports a wide range of beam heights, bay widths, and load capacities
- Lower upfront cost than higher-density alternatives
- Works with wire decking, pallet supports, and row spacers
- Compliant with RMI/ANSI standards; straightforward to permit
